Fine or low-density hair:
 Start with a small amount. Focus on the mid-lengths and ends and avoid applying too much near the roots.

Medium or coarse hair:
 Use a moderate amount and distribute evenly through the hair.

High-density or very thick hair:
 Work in sections and apply enough product to coat the hair evenly rather than applying a large amount all at once.

Low-porosity hair:
 Start light. Allow the moisturizer to absorb before adding more product. Too much product at once can leave hair feeling coated.

High-porosity or very dry hair: 
Use a more generous amount and follow with the Hair & Scalp Oil to help seal in moisture.

Curly & coily hair:
 Sectioning the hair can make a big difference. Apply, distribute, and detangle each section before moving to the next.
